ExpressCard Notebooks

ExpressCard slots can be found in notebooks from every major notebook manufacturer. A wide variety of configurations are currently available on the market.

Some notebooks include an ExpressCard slot and a PC Card slot to ease customer transition. Some feature only one Universal ExpressCard slot which can accept either an ExpressCard/54 or ExpressCard/34 module. Still others offer a single ExpressCard/34 slot which will only accept an ExpressCard/34 module. By learning which applications your customer uses, you can recommend which configuration is the best for them.

(54mm) slot. A 34mm module
is inserted in the slot.
